With a BFA in Illustration and over ten years within the design/consumer product industry—I created this site to share my illustration work. While I have a professional portfolio that features products and images that I have worked on as a Designer and Art Director, this site is artwork 100% influenced by my interests, quirks and perspective on the world around me.

JWoK is how I sign my artwork and is an arrangement of initials from names that have made me who I am today.
The word “CROOKED” (but with a “K”) accents my signature and means,“sharply curved, bent or twisted;
often in more than one place. Not aligned properly or at an angle.” If pressed, I would describe myself as an artist
who is “not aligned properly” within one specific niche and is “often in more than one place”
(aka within a variety of creative arenas).

I live in Chicago, Illinois and am open to freelance work—large and small.
